A 108-mile loop out to Lincoln
A long, dry July ride out through Newark and Southwell to Lincoln and back via Grantham.
My longest ride so far: 108 miles in about five hours. It was dry all day, warm without being hot, with a clear start and cloud building later.
The route
The ride went through Newark and Southwell, up the A1 past North Muskham to Lincoln, and back by way of Grantham. It’s a good long loop for a dry day: mostly open roads, with a city to stop in at the far end.
